IVE debuted on December 1, 2021, under Starship Entertainment. The group consists of six members: Gaeul, Yujin, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo.
Their debut single Eleven achieved immediate success, topping Korean music charts and earning 13 music show wins.
The song’s music video surpassed 160 million views within weeks. IVE became the fastest girl group to win a music show award, achieving this feat seven days after debut.
2021–2022: Debut and Breakthrough Success
IVE released their debut single album Eleven on December 1, 2021. The title track peaked at No. 2 on South Korea’s Circle Digital Chart.
The group earned their first music show win on MBC M’s Show Champion eight days after debut. Eleven sold over 360,000 copies, setting a record for highest first-week sales by a girl group debut album.
In April 2022, IVE returned with Love Dive. The title track became their first No. 1 on the Circle Digital Chart.
